Course Description

Learning Genie is web-based portal and an app that will be adopted during the 23-24 school year by all Early Learner classrooms to house online student assessment portfolios, create reports and use as a family engagement tool. It is aligned to the DRDP/KIDS and Illinois Learning Standards. Administrators of preschool and kindergarten teachers will learn how teachers are using the tool, how they can navigate the system as a site administrator, and how to pull class or building reports for data review.

Instructor Information

This presentation will be led by Vicky Magana and Celeste Hernandez-Riley from Learning Genie.

Course Format Information

Participants will need their charged laptop. All Building Administrators will be given a Learning Genie account and oversight of teachers in their building. This training will be recorded for future reference, but no credit will be given for future viewing. 

Evaluation and Attendance Information

Evaluation forms for this course will be available for 24 hours after the course has ended.  All evaluation forms must be completed by that time.  Attendance will be taken via sign-in sheet and once the attendance information has been entered into the course, your PD hour form will be available.
