Course Description

This full-day professional learning session is designed for K–2 educators who want to strengthen foundational literacy instruction using UFLI Foundations. Participants will deepen their understanding of UFLI’s explicit, systematic approach to phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, encoding, and fluency, and learn how to implement daily lessons with fidelity within the U-46 Language Block. The day will focus on instructional routines, lesson structure, and practical classroom application, with opportunities to examine materials, walk through sample lessons, and plan for immediate use in instruction.
