"This professional learning experience guides educators through the full continuum of implementing and sustaining the Social Contract as a tool for developing student agency and self-management. Grounded in U-46’s Model of Instruction (MOI), this learning series focuses on creating a safe, student-centered learning environment that promotes ownership, collaboration, and accountability. Participants will explore strategies such as student reflection roles, the use of the Five Reflection Questions from Capturing Kids’ Hearts, and structures for supporting consistent and equitable classroom management. Educators will leave equipped with practical systems for embedding reflection into daily routines—helping students not only understand expectations but also apply them to make thoughtful choices and grow as learners and community members."
