Course Description

Research shows us children who have strong print awareness in the early years will have a better understanding that written language carries meaning and will be more successful readers and writers as they enter the elementary grades. Attend this webinar to learn about opportunities to authentically embed print awareness throughout the classroom day or through remote settings. Strategies to embed print throughout the routines of the classroom day, either in person or remotely, will be shared. In addition, we will discuss how to support families as they build their own knowledge and skills in the home environment in relation to the writing-reading connection.
