Play is possible in a self-contained classroom! During this course, teachers will focus on how to use thematic units and play in ways that meet the unique and diverse developmental needs of their students. Teachers will walk away with ideas on how to utilize the classroom environment to support play, incorporating themes into IEP goals, and using play to develop language and vocabulary.
Audience
Preschool and Kindergarten Teachers, Self-Contained Teams
This presentation will be led by Erin Jackle, Stephanie Hopkins, Early Learner Instructional Coaches and Jennifer Hensley, Classroom Teacher.
Course Format Information
Participants will need a charged laptop to access the integrated curriculum.
Evaluation and Attendance Information
Evaluation forms for this course will be available for 24 hours after the course has ended. All evaluation forms must be completed by that time. Attendance will be taken via sign-in sheet and once the attendance information has been entered into the course, your PD hour form will be available.
