Course Description

During this session, Middle School ESL teachers will work on extending before strategies for engaging learners, building background knowledge and supporting them to be able to read independently, and go into instructional strategies to use during reading for deeper understanding as well as after for extended learning and discussion. Participants will review the Curriculum Alignments and the lessons they are using and how these strategies can fit.
