Course Description

Intentional preschool and kindergarten teachers gather data needed to guide instruction, ensuring that all children are progressing toward developmental and educational goals. Observation, documentation and assessment of young children's development and learning is ongoing, strategic, reflective and purposeful. It helps teachers evaluate the effectiveness of the experiences they provide to children. Participants will learn how to systematically observe students throughout their day in the children's natural learning environment.

Payment and PD Hour Information

 Since you will receive hourly pay for participation in this course, the PD Hours you receive will not be eligible for submission to the Professional Credit Tracking System.  They can be entered into ISBE/ELIS system for PD Hours you need to renew your licensure.  For additional information about this process, click here.
