These sessions on 8/4 and 8/5 will provide you with an overview of your responsibilities in your building as well as training on important tools like Naviance. You'll be able to network with other new counselors as well as experienced U-46 counselors.
Audience
All New School Counselors
This presentation will be led by U-46 School Counselors, Al Tamburrino and Alexa Charsha.
Course Format Information
This course will take place in person. Please bring your laptop.
Evaluation and Attendance Information
Evaluation forms for this course will be available for 24 hours after the course has ended. All evaluation forms must be completed by that time. Attendance will be taken via sign-in sheet and once the attendance information has been entered into the course, your PD hour form will be available.
PD Hour/Professional Credit Information
As this is a required PD course taking place outside of contractual school hours, you will receive pay for attending this course. Per the agreement between U-46 and ETA, all PD that receives hourly pay is not eligible for Professional Credits. You can submit these hours to ISBE/ELIS for licensure renewal but not to the Professional Credit System. If you have questions about this, please contact professionalcredit@u-46.org
