This course satisfies the IDFPR ethics training requirement for maintaining OT licensure in Illinois. It will provide an overview of the AOTA Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics, along with recent updates that impact practitioners. Participants will demonstrate their understanding of the Code of Ethics and Ethics Standards, identify the ethical principles guiding OT practice, and apply the AOTA Code of Ethics to real-world scenarios. This will assist school base practitioners enhance their services to their students and schools.
