Participants will learn about the concepts of instructional control and compliance while honoring self-determination and upholding dignity and respect. Participants will gain valuable insight into how to cultivate positive relationships with their students based on mutual respect and care at the foundation. This training will further cover misconceptions related to instructional control, dispel myths on compliance in the classroom, and provide practical strategies for building rapport and meaningful student-teacher relationships. Specific district policies may be referenced upon request.

special education cross cat and resource teachers, specials and electives teachers, assistant directors, assitant prinicpals of schools that have MAC, APSSs, district administrators, curriculum coordinators, MAC teachers, prinicopals, related service providers

Evaluation and Attendance Information
