Easterseals Summer STRIVE for the MAC Classroom is a multi-day professional learning experience designed to strengthen instructional practice, behavior support, and inclusive systems within MAC classrooms. Across four days, participants engage in hands-on learning that blends planning, reflection, and application. Educators begin by learning, planning, and creating classroom-ready artifacts aligned to student needs. The series then builds a shared understanding of trauma-informed crisis prevention and response, followed by crisis intervention strategies to support students with complex learning profiles. The experience concludes with a focus on developing instructional control grounded in autonomy, dignity, and positive relationships, equipping educators with practical tools to foster safe, responsive, and inclusive learning environments.
