This professional learning session introduces the Ukeru system, focusing on tiered supports, proactive teaching of replacement behaviors, and effective de-escalation strategies. Participants will learn how to implement non-aversive, trauma-responsive practices that promote safety and student dignity while reducing reliance on restraint or seclusion. Classroom teams are encouraged to attend together to support consistent implementation.
