TMP: 2021-2022 New Mentor Training
Ended May 28, 2022
Full course description
1 PD Hour for the Synchronous Session
Hybrid (Asynchronous Work + Synchronous Session)
Required for All New Mentors
This is a hybrid course that will consist of uploading application materials asynchronously and participating in a synchronous 1-hour long New Mentor Training Session. The synchronous sessions will be posted in the course calendar. Once you have submitted your application materials, we ask that you reserve a space in one of the synchronous sessions using the appointment calendar (here is a quick video to show you how). Once you have attended the synchronous training session, you will receive a certificate of attendance that you will submit as an assignment to move forward into the final evaluation module. It is through the final evaluation module that you will be able to access your CPDUs. Please note: Since you will be receiving hourly pay for attending the New Mentor Training session, the CPDU earned for the session is NOT eligible for use in the Professional Credit Tracking System. However, you are encouraged to use your CPDU for your Teaching Certificate Renewal through ISBE.
