Course Description

This course includes an introduction to mentoring as well as a focus on the development of skills needed in order to support a new teacher and enhance their practice through collaborative, reflective conversations grounded in the Danielson Framework for Teaching.  Mentors will learn about strategies, resources, and methods to support new and experienced new certified staff members.  Mentors will consider ways to support mentees as they work to complete their U-46 Professional Growth Plan/TAP Portfolio.

Audience

U-46 Certified Staff Members (4 years experience, 2 with U-46)
