Course Description

This course includes an introduction to mentoring as well as a focus on the development of skills needed in order to support a new teacher and enhance their practice through collaborative, reflective conversations. Participants will make connections between their core values and sense of belonging. They will also analyze important learning for new staff members and possible strategies to support their mentee's learning.

Audience

U-46 Certified Staff Members (4 years experience, 2 with U-46)

Course Format Information

This course will take place in person but also have asynchronous work.

Evaluation and Attendance Information

Evaluation forms for this course will be available for 24 hours after the course has ended.  All evaluation forms must be completed by that time.  Attendance will be taken via sign-in sheet and once the attendance information has been entered into the course, your PD hour form will be available.
