In addition to receiving CPI 101 content covering crisis de-escalation, participants receive IL state-mandated training on disengagement and restraint techniques as well as critical tools to discern when, how to use these more restrictive, physical interventions amidst a crisis.

Course Format Information
This course will involve both completion of an asynchronous module and an in-person session. The asynchronous module needs to be completed prior to the in-person session.
Evaluation and Attendance Information
Evaluation forms for this course will be available for 24 hours after the in-person session has ended. All evaluation forms must be completed by that time. Attendance will be taken via sign-in/sign-out sheet and once the attendance information has been entered into the course, your PD hour form will be available.
PD Hour / Pay / Professional Credit Information
