Course Description

During this readiness phase, LSI will acquaint the leadership team with the School Instructional Maturity Model (SIMM). The SIMM is a framework which offers a systems-approach to school improvement and reveals the range of undeveloped potential in each school for the achievement of every student. Created by LSI’s Applied Research Center, SIMM is an evidence-based model that defines six instructional pillars schools can focus on to drive continuous improvement. School leaders use SIMM to plot their schools along a continuum from less mature systems to highly mature systems and can see the expected results in each phase of the continuum. Understanding the SIMM will allow executive leaders to map their work to align all systems to the U-46 vision of instruction, using leading indicators as the driving force for all systems change.

Agendas will be shared in advance of the training.
